Welcome to the Great Western Ambulance Service NHS Trust Website
The Great Western Ambulance Service NHS Trust is responsible for delivering an increasing range of health services, including Accident & Emergency and Patient Transport Services, to over two million people across Avon, Gloucestershire and Wiltshire.

Our aim is to provide the 'right care, in the right place at the right time'. To achieve this we have a model of care which is to respond to calls faster, assess and treat more patients locally and prevent unnecessary hospital admissions.

We will be recruiting more front line staff, locating them with other health professionals, matching responses more to caller needs and ensuring patients are transferred to the right environment

We welcome involvement from our communities and your comments can be made through the 'Contact Us' facility on this website or by contacting our Patient Advice and Liaison Service on 01249 858500.
